This evening I was at the DC Concierge (www.dcconcierge.com) relaunch party and said that to Nicholas Tolson (@jtnt) – only after I looked at his business card and recognized that his domain was similar to his Twitter name. And this had us wondering about how Twitter translates into real world networking effects. I am a fan [...] Tomorrow night is TechCocktail DC 2 and I am very excited. I am looking forward to seeing both old and new faces in the DC Tech community and just having a good time. Now, I know there has been a lot of discussion about defining and organizing the community along with goals for DC Tech as [...] As the title implies, I am participating in this year’s 48 Hour Film Project! Thanks to an invite, I was inspired to join a team: Green Llama Productions. This year’s competition will be held the weekend of May 2-4. This will be my first big film project in a while – its been years of vacation filming [...] After my last post a few people mentioned PlanetDC.org to me. I am really glad that someone else in DC has already thought to put all of the blogs in one place. –You know they say no ideas are new, the difference is how you act upon them. So, I am still going to finish [...] I’ve said before that I am a fan of the DC tech community. So, in an effort to promote it, I have created this widget. However, it is a practice version. I plan on creating a new one from scratch and put in a Clearspring wrapper. I have to say I am pretty impressed by what I have discovered in the DC tech scene. I get excited when I discover a cool event that is getting attention.
